MANUFACTURER: PHCBI

MADE: USA

TYPE: BIOMEDICAL FREEZER

PHCbi -40°C Biomedical ECO Freezers provide a stable and reliable environment for storage of enzymes, vaccines, pharmaceutical products and other biomedical materials with uniform temperatures. High performance refrigeration systems provide responsive cooling, while a manual defrost function eliminates temperature fluctuation. The advanced combination of natural refrigerants, a high performance inverter compressor and integrated electronic controls are engineered for enhanced security and dependability.
The MDF-MU549DHL-PA -40°C ECO dual chamber biomedical freezer features 16.9 cu.ft. of flexible storage in two independent chambers, offering stable temperature and utility value when cabinet sharing is desired, minimizing exposure to stored product. This system is designed to manage overall performance, reliably protecting stored products and lowering operating costs by up to 28% compared to conventional models.

FEATURES:

Purpose-Built Cold Chain Storage:
PHCbi brand biomedical freezers are engineered from the inside out to create, maintain and restore precise temperatures necessary for vaccine storage. Our purpose-built -30°C to -40°C vaccine storage freezers are designed for temperature uniformity and stability that is not commonly found with household or commercial cabinets. PHCbi brand vaccine cold chain storage solutions satisfy current and evolving storage protocols essential for continued vaccine efficacy.

Natural Refrigerants, Proven Cooling Technology:
Naturally occurring hydrocarbon [HC] refrigerants are environmentally friendly and compliant with sustainability objectives for non-depletion of ozone. A new generation of innovative, variable speed inverter compressors with intelligent controls deliver efficient cooling and fast recovery after door openings, providing dependable stored product protection and lower operating costs by up to 28% compared to conventional models. Power consumption at rated storage temperatures confirms significant energy saving performance of the Biomedical ECO natural refrigerant platform, with performance similar to ENERGY STAR® Certified PHCbi freezers in the same class.

High Performance Refrigeration:
The refrigeration systems and variable speed inverter compressor respond to demands for cooling based on temperature setpoint, frequency of door openings, ambient temperature in the location and heat intrusion through the composite insulated walls. Strategic integration of embedded cooling coils creates a uniform coldwall surface for fast response at temperatures as low as -40°C top to bottom.

Smart Cabinet Design:
The upright biomedical freezer design features two door access, increasing flexibility for secure sharing among labs. Each chamber includes three wire shelves; two adjustable and one fixed. Optional open top bins can be added to hold common 2" or 3" freezer boxes as well as miscellaneous packaging. High density CFC-free foamed-in-place insulation creates a temperature resistant wall structure. Lockable doors assure product security, and painted steel interior surfaces simplify cleaning.

Microprocessor Controller and Alarms:
The microprocessor-based temperature control system with LED display maintains accurate setpoint temperature to within 1°C over a range of -20°C to -40°C. Temperature display for each independently controlled chamber can be shown simultaneously or individually. Audible and flashing visual alarm lights supplement the setpoint deviation system to warn of parameter violations and loss of power.
